Brendan Byrne
Partner/solicitor


Brendan obtained his degree in Economics from Queens University in Belfast in 1987 and then worked in banking in London for 12 years, returning to Ireland in 1998.

He qualified as a solicitor in 2001 and set up the practice of Byrne & Co. Solicitors in September 2003 together with Patricia Byrne.  

He currently deals primarily with Personal Injury Litigation on behalf of people who have suffered injuries in car accidents, accidents at work, slips and falls and recreation accidents.  He  has experience in handling medical negligence claims, defective product claims and defamation cases.  

He also deals with family law matters and general litigation involving all manner of disputes.    He has extensive litigation experience and has acted for Plaintiffs and Defendants across a broad range of commercial disputes.   
 
Brendan is a member of the Law Society of Ireland and a member of the Dublin Solicitors Bar Association.  

He has a wide range of sporting interests and is actively involved in Raheny GAA club.

Patricia Byrne 
Partner/solicitor/Notary Public

Patricia has over 20 years' experience in both commercial and private client law. She is a Notary Public and has a diploma in commercial property and European law.
 
  • Advises SME’s and family businesses on re-structuring and raising finance.
  • Provides landlord and tenant advice on offices and retail units.
  • Advises private clients in relation to the purchasing, mortgaging and/or sale of principal private residences or investment properties.
  • Provides advice to a large number of property developers on issues arising in the course of new development schemes both residential and commercial.
  • Advises clients in relation to estate planning, probate and administration of estates.
  • Advises clients on the acquisition, funding, development and disposal of all types of property assets and shareholding in property owning entities.
  • Advises clients on complex family trust arrangements and wills, probate matters, and matters relating to the execution of Enduring Power of Attorney and General Power of Attorney.

Patricia is member of the Law Society of Ireland, the Dublin Solicitors Bar Association, the Faculty of Notaries Public Ireland and the Fingal Dublin Chamber of Commerce.
 

Emer Jones
Solicitor


Emer Jones holds an Honours degrees in Arts from National University of Maynooth and an LL. B from the National University of Galway.
Before joining our firm in 2017, Emer worked in the litigation department of a Dublin firm and spent many years working in insurance roles where she completed a Diploma in Insurance Law.
Emer completed her training in our office and was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in 2018. 
She also holds a Certificate in Technology Law.

 
Emer deals with all aspects of Residential  and Commercial Conveyancing, Wills, Estate Planning and Licencing.
